Statistik:
Gesünder, billiger, fast so schnell als mit dem Bus und viel mehr Spaß…
In der Woche vor Ostern 2015 ich bin nach und rund um die “Isle of Wight” mit meinem fahrrad gehfahren. Dies sind die berrichted von dieser Erfahrung:
Ich lerne noch wie WordPress funktioniert. Ich denke, dies ist die beste Methode, um alle “posts” zusammen zu bringen. Sollte jemand eine bessere Lösung haben, bitte kontakt aufnehmen.

Na gut… ich habe das unterem Video produziert nach einer Anfrage von einem Familienmitglied, das, nachdem er meine früheren Video gesehen hat (mit der Kamera auf dem Rad montiert) fragte mich, ob ich ein Video mit mir, wãhrend des fahrens produzieren konnte.
Denkmal dran dass wir amatour sind, OK. Nicht auf einer Hollywood Produktion zu erwarten, obwohl ich glaube mein Freund Gyuszi einem super job mit der Kamera gemacht hat. Vielen Dank Gyuszi!

Ein paar Kommentare nachdem ich mich selbts auf dem Rad gesehen habe… Ich habe es bemerkt dass es scheint dass ich sehr “eng” auf dem Rad war. Dass ist allerdings nicht wie es fühlt. Glaub mir, es fühlt sehr komfortabel auf dem Rad zu sitzen. Ich hab´es aber auch bemerkt dass ich villeicht einige Verbesserung machen kan, so wie die Größe der Lenkstange zu reduzieren und versuchen, irgendwie, die Position des Sitzes etwas weniger zurückgelehnte zu halten Ich weiss es noch nicht ob dass möglich ist, aber ich habe schon um 3 cm das Sitz erhöht nur bei mehr druck auf der hinteren Aufhängung.

ich weiss, est ist schon eine weile zeit ich was hier gescrieben habe. Es wird noch eine weile dauern bis ist alles fertig habe um über die “Camino” zu schreiben.
Nur so das euch eine Forstellung hat, ich habe ungefahr 90.000 (Ja, 90 tousand) bilder aufgenomen in die 3 Wochen ich war unterwegs (die Kamera war eigently immer am laufen und nimmt ein bild auf jeder 5 sekunden) und auch mehere stunden von video zwischen mein pilgerfahrt partner und mich.
Nur auswählen was sehenswürdig ist von was alltäglich ist, ist schon eine ganze menge Arbeit. Nachdem der Auswahl getan ist kommt “Storyboarding”, Videobearbeitung, im YouTube laden und das Screiben des artikels, welche ich versuchen werde auf ein Minimum zu halten.
In falls ihr weiss das noch nicht, das hier ist alles ein “hobby”. Ich verdiene kein Geld mit dieser Arbeit (in warheit, es kostet mich etwas Geld) so wenn ich zurück nach hause gekommen bin musste ich mich auf die langweiligen Sachenzu widmen, die die Rechnungen bezahlen.
Ob das nicht genug wäre, ich hatte auch einige Artikel gestartet befor ich zum Pilgerfahrt ging und ich moechte nicht über die Camino schreiben befor ich habe den veröffentlicht. “Excuses, excuses, excuses…”, aber gut gemeint.
Zunächst arbeite ich gerade im den feinschliff für der 3. und letzter Artikel über meine fahrrad reise nach der “Isle of Wight” und dan werde ich auch ein video in YouTube laden das mich auf meine “Recumbent” fahrrad zeigt. Es war eine Anforderung von einem Familienmitglied dass úber solche fahrräder interesiert ist, aber villeicht werden anderen Leute sich auch interessieren. So, das ist was zunächst kommt.
Mittlerweile, wenn es euch passt, da gibst eine reihe von videos das Cacá Strina, auch eine fahrrad Pilger, veröffentlicht hat. Die videos sind auf Portugiesisch allerdings.

So, ich hoffe dass dieses “post” kommuniziert was noch kommt. Wie versprochen ich werde über des “Caminos” schreiben aber es wird etwas langer dauern bis ich so weit bin.

If you wrote to me these past few days, I apologise in advance. I have not been able to read emails since I started the pilgimage. I was pretty sure I had configured my tablet to download the emails, but it is not happening and I have been unable to access them via wemail.

Ich schreibe gerade aus Leon mit meiner Handy wo ich auf meine doppel bed liege zuzamen mit wine ganze menge leute und keine stromstecke. Nicht idealle Bedingungen.
Ich werde ein ausgefülltes bericht schreiben nachdem ich zurück in England bin.
Ich nehme “time-lapse” Bilder auf die ganze fahrt (meiner Sony Kamera nimmt ein Bild jjede 5 Sekunden ab) so es wird möglich sein mehrere Stunde farht zu sehen auf nur ein weniger Minuten.

Wenn es sehr schlim Fehler hier gibt ist weil das Bildschirm zu klein ist, ich müde bin und die Handy nur English versteht. Nimmt es euch nicht übel.

Did about 62 Km today. The intention was to ride all the way to Logrono, but as we stopped in Viana just to look around (around 5pm) we decided to stay for the night.
We did a little stop at Irache where they have the famous wine fountain and I decided to part ways with my riding partner for a while and the the walkers route to Los Arcos, while my partner took the road. Needless to say he got there mucb earlier and what I got was my own experience to tell you there are parts of the camino there are definitely not suitable for biking, at least not for a loaded bike. There were moments I had literatelly lift my entire bike with all its load off the ground.
After a quick stop in Los Arcos for food we continued in the direction to Logrono stoping at Viana for the night.
Viana is such a great little town, high up in the hill. Albergue for the night was €8 and the pilgrims menu also €8 and food was great.

Did 80 Km today, to compensate the 30 Km yesterday. We need to keep an average of 60 Km a day to have enough time to be back from Santiago to Saint Jean.

Before you start reading, I wrote this post 2 days ago as I was already tucked in my bunk bed, but as I was ready to post, I found out WiFi did not reach there and I was without mobile phone signal. Yesterday the same thing, but frankly I wouldn’t have written anything anyway. Too tired.

Today was different and that is good.
I am typing this using a tablet computer and I”ve never been very good with virtual keyboards,so will try to keep it short. To anyone that might be following this, I’ll do a complete makeover of this posts adding video and writting a more elaborate post. WiFi is also practically non existant and mobile signal is very weak, so no pictures today I’m afraid. I’ve added some in the EyeCycled Facebook while on the way though (click on the right)
we left Saint Jean late, around 10:30am. After having watched some videos of people struggling to push their bikes up on the walkers route, we decided to stick to the road. Perhaps I’ll do the camino again by foot one day and then take the walkers route.
Having taken the road was the right decision. It was perhaps easier, but that is not to say it was easy. Something like 90% iofthe 30 Km that separate Saint Jean from Roncesvales is s up hill, the famous Pyrinees Mountains.
We also had light rain on the way which would make the walkers route even more challenging.
We arrived in Roncesvales at 4:00pm and stopped for a coffee. The top of the mountain was very windy and cold. During the coffee we decided to stay at the “Albergue”. The cost is 12 Euros and the Pilgrims mealis 10. Today’s menu was pasta, then fish with potatoes and the desert was some white cream. All with wine and water. Not bad.
Ha a shower and then went to see the Catholic mass in the chapel.
Tomorrow the plan is to ride to Pamplona or further. The is another big hill on the way, not as high but with a high incline.
